Non-Newtonian Viscosity Analysis of Concentrated Protein Solutions
Application Note Download
When it comes to biopharmaceutical applications, it has been widely adopted to use a traditional colloidal scaling analysis method. Mentioned in our previous application notes and webinars (including our webinar on the viscosity of biological samples), we focus on using these colloidal scaling systems commonly accepted in the R&D sectors of biopharmaceutical and biotech companies and explain how to apply to create concentrated model protein solutions. With an added bonus, we are also able to associate the analysis with the size of protein clusters and protein aggregates.
In this application note, we are able to conduct shear rate sweeps in order to extract detailed information on protein formulation components and micro-structures. With such vital capabilities, we are able to accurately extract information on protein cluster size and protein protein interaction.
