As formulation development moves toward high-throughput, automated, and closed-loop workflows, analytical instruments need to keep pace. RheoSense has released an Application Programming Interface (API) that lets laboratory automation systems control the VROC® initium 1++ directly.

In this webinar, we introduce the new API and show how it opens the initium to integration with liquid handling robots and self-driving labs (SDLs). In a live demo, an external script will control the initium from start to finish, showcasing core API functions: managing sample queues, starting measurements, monitoring instrument status, and automatically retrieving results ready for downstream analysis. We'll also discuss applications across high-concentration protein formulations, polymer solutions, and printable inks.
