96 samples in 24 hours: 19 μL per sample with VROC® Initium One Plus

VROC® Initium One Plus now includes an ultra-high throughput feature, allowing for ultra-fast screening of your drug candidates. 
Notable features of the instrument now include the following:

  • Fully automated sample loading, measurements, and cleaning
  • Small sample volume, as low as 19 µL, for repeated tests
  • High throughput: 96 samples in 24 hours
  • Excellent accuracy, ±2%, and repeatability, ±0.5%
  • Built-in temperature control


The plot here displays the viscosity results obtained for 19 µL samples of 150 mg/mL BγG in buffer loaded into a 96 well plate. All samples were measured within 24 hours. Each sample’s viscosity is measured multiple times thanks to the sample retrieval feature. The fully automated & high throughput capabilities allow for short hands-on time and continuous collection of data. 


Clariti® analysis software was used to reprocess data with R2 < 0.9996, allowing for enhancement of data quality and discarding of low-quality results. The repeatability is ±2%, which drops to ±0.5% for higher rates.
