mAbs are non-Newtonian

In this application note, we focus on performing accurate and reliable shear rate sweeps (~100 –150,000 1/s) of low-to-high concentration monoclonal antibody (mAb) or protein solutions with only 90 µL of sample using the VROC^® initium One Plus. Such shear rate dependent viscosity measurements are required to accurately estimate the injection force of shear thinning mAb formulations for multiple syringe geometries, which is shown here as well.
