Structural Recovery of DNA in Multiple Ionic Conditions

Application Note Download

Measurements and analysis of the melting transition and structural recovery of DNA in multiple ionic conditions are crucial to the performance and outcome of molecular biology techniques like mutation scanning, genotyping, sequence matching, PCR, and microarrays.

In this application note, we perform temperature-sweeps (low-to-high proceeded by high-to-low) with our VROC® technology to characterize the DNA melting temperature at the melting transition, as well as the renaturation, or structural recovery, during cooling. Our technology can be used to characterize your DNA and check the quality of your buffers and media.
